1) When will the website be finished?
We
are currently at the stage of 90% of one of all our items on the
website, and many of these also have a link to the full colour
range of that item. After we have completed the full colour
range of most items we will then put prices on the website (currently over 70% of items have a price).
Although as we have over 5,000 items/images this will be
finished as the months progress, in the meantime one can phone
(02)92671428 to order or for bulk prices, please quote the item number on the
website if available when you phone.

2) What is the best way to navigate the website?
HOW TO NAVIGATE THE WEBSITE
At the moment we are ¾ of the
way through the website so some of the links etc are yet to complete. The best
way to find the product you are looking for will be to click onto your
respective customer category button/link on the
Main Home Page
(at the top of every page is also a link to the Main Home Page , and
then click the product list for that category. If you are not
sure which customer category you are in, then just click the
Full product range
(also called All
categories button).

colour or quantity) as we generally find many customers do not give us full
details about the item they are interested in, and although this costs us more
we are generally happy to phone customers to speed up the enquiry process. All
part of the extra old fashioned customer service you will come to expect from
Photios Bros.

Photios Bros Pty Ltd is the oldest wholesaler of beads,
crystals and other fashion accessories in Australia having been
established over 85 years ago.
The business
is an icon of the fashion industry throughout Australia.
5) I cannot find the article I am looking for?
Please phone us on 02.92671428 as some of our products are not
on the website yet. Often we may send you and SMS of an product image which can
be clearer than the website image.

You can order several different ways : by visiting our shop
in the heart of Sydney; by phone, fax or by email. See also the How to

10) If I require goods by tomorrow how can I get them in time?
Please phone us before 11.00am on any weekday and most of the time
we can send out your order by express post which will get to
most areas in Australia the next working day. As most of our
articles we have in stock for immediate delivery.
11) Can I come into your your shop premises?
Yes anyone can come into our shop in the heart of Sydney, but
please remember check our opening hours on the contact us page
at the to of the page.
12) Can I get a sample of the item before I order them?
Firstly on request, it may be possible for us to send you an
image via SMS of a product/order before a customer places a firm order.
Please phone us on 02.92671428 and generally we are able to send
you a sample of one or two articles at no charge before you
order them. Obviously we are unable to send you a sample some of
our more expensive articles such as jewellery, where as many of
our beads, sequins, crystals, and trimming we can send you a
sample first. We also often offer an image via SMS of a product
or order giving the customer an opportunity to see there product/order before
the order is confirmed and paid for.
13) What is your policy for exchanges or refunds on
goods?
We have a similar policy to many other jewellery shops or fabric
shops.
Please choose carefully as we do not refund on any goods which
where the customer has made the wrong choice.
We only exchange items under all of the following conditions :
a) The item is returned in its original condition and has not
been used and where originally packaged is still in its original
packaging unopened.
b) We do not exchange on items such as finished jewellery (e.g.
: necklets or earrings etc), or items by the metre (e.g.: Any
trimmings such as fringe, braid, beaded or sequin trimming etc).
This is also the policy of most fabric shops.
c) Must show us the original receipt prior to exchange, and
within 7 days of the purchase.
NOTE : Although we have taken every care to make sure the colours of the items
are as close as possible to the actual colours there will be variations in
colours from one computer monitor to another and in many cases (depending on the
item or cost of the item) we can send you a up to 3 samples free of charge (this
applies mostly to beads, sequins, crystals of smaller size, diamantes, sequin
trimming, fringe, braid etc).
14) Is there a minimum order?
a) For visiting our shop in Sydney there is no minimum value :
except that some items may have a minimum size packet sold
such as seed beads the smallest
quantity sold is $6.00 per 60 gram packet for most colours, or
loose sequins at $5.50 for a 40 gram packet for most colours, or
some crystals are sold by the dozen, or trimmings the minimum is
generally 1 metre.
b) There is also no minimum for cash sales but there is a
minimum of any card sales (credit or debit cards) of $30.00.
15) Is there a discount for bulk purchases?
There is a discount for most items when purchasing a bulk
amount. Please phone for the bulk price.
16) What are the washing or cleaning instructions for
products?
We do not recommend washing of feathers (especially ostrich
feathers or feather boa as not only can the dye come out & change the colour,
but also the feathers can be damaged.
Please note that no guarantee is given that any of our merchandise is colourfast
: so please test a small section first. Please contact us if you require more
information.
17) Notes regarding use or care of our products?
There is no guarantee given as to our product use; and as
previously mentioned no guarantee is given that any of our merchandise is
colourfast.
Chemicals, cosmetics (eg: tanning lotions and moisturises) or constant rubbing
can effect the colourfastness (or colour coating) on many products (such as some
beads & sequins).
Suitability for the end use of our products are the customers responsibility.
eg : all dyes on feathers are non-colourfast and will come out in washing
eg: colours of feathers can run onto other items especially with feather boa and
especially with medium to dark colours. So for example a royal blue turkey
feather boa if warn with a white dress can rub blue dye onto the white dress
when rubbed; or can even rub off onto the skin when rubbed.
